Application:
The GSO of the mass fraction of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in petroleum products is intended for use in laboratories of the oil refining, petrochemical and chemical industries, as well as by any organizations that monitor the quality of diesel fuel for compliance with the technical regulations "On requirements for automotive and aviation gasoline, diesel and marine fuels, jet fuel and heating oil."

GSO is designed to control the accuracy of measuring the mass fraction of mono- and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in medium distillates according to GOST R EN 12916-2008, and to certify methods for measuring the mass fraction of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in diesel fuel.

- the mass fraction of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (POLY-AU), the range of permissible certified values from 1.10 to 12.00%.
The limits of the relative error of the certified value of the mass fraction of monoaromatic hydrocarbons (MAU) are ± 0.5%, diaromatic hydrocarbons (DAU) - ± 0.5%, three+aromatic hydrocarbons (T+AU) - ± 3.5%, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (POLY-AU) - ± 3.5% with a confidence probability of 0.95.
